I started learning video making in my junior year of high school, starting off with making short films and skits while learning fundamental skills in video production classes. Senior year gave me the opportunity to work on my high school broadcast where I further enhanced my skills through filmmaking workshops ran by FilmEd Academy. My experiences working on broadcast included: conducting interviews with students and staff, directing news segments for announcements and campus events, and recording various live events (sports, theater performances, themed events). As a team we also participated in a 24 and 48 Hour Film Festival(s), providing me experiences of working on film sets with organized roles and tasks. Beyond high school, I practiced freelance work throughout college, picking up videography jobs whilst also helping out friends with various projects, primarily acting as production assistant
